This comprehensive, full-day experience combines three of La Fortuna’s most iconic natural attractions, offering a well-rounded perspective of the region’s geological and ecological diversity. The adventure is carefully sequenced to maximize the educational experience and minimize physical fatigue.
The day begins with the exploration of the lava trails of Arenal 1968, where participants walk on petrified lava flows while learning about volcanology, geology and ecological succession processes. Strategically placed viewpoints offer panoramic views of the volcanic cone and exceptional photo opportunities.

The second part includes the descent to La Fortuna Waterfall, where visitors experience the power of volcanic water precipitating from 70 meters high. The natural pool at the base of the waterfall offers opportunities to swim in crystal clear waters while enjoying the visual and sound spectacle of the waterfall.
The experience culminates with the tour of the hanging bridges, which lift visitors up to 45 meters above the forest floor, providing a unique perspective of the forest canopy. The 16 bridges, including 6 main suspension bridges, allow you to observe the vertical stratification of the tropical forest and spot species that live exclusively in the treetops.
