This specialized experience offers the unique opportunity to observe sloths in their natural habitat through carefully designed trails that maximize the chances of sighting while minimizing the impact on these fascinating mammals. The trails traverse a private sanctuary of 30 hectares of tropical forest where stable populations of two- and three-toed sloths live.
Naturalist guides specializing in sloth behavior use high-powered telescopes and detailed knowledge of the activity patterns of these animals to ensure successful sightings. During the approximately 2-kilometer course, participants learn about the unique ecology of sloths, their evolutionary adaptations, their crucial role in the rainforest ecosystem, and local conservation efforts.

The experience goes beyond simple observation, including education on species differentiation, interpretation of behaviors, and understanding of the threats these animals face in the wild.
