The Arenal Mystical Park offers one of the most comprehensive and educational hanging bridge experiences in Costa Rica, with a system of 16 bridges that includes 6 main suspension bridges suspended up to 45 meters above the forest floor. This network of elevated trails allows you to explore the vertical stratification of the rainforest from a unique perspective.
The park encompasses 250 hectares of transitional tropical forest, located on the Arenal geological fault between 500-600 meters above sea level. This unique location creates an exceptional ecosystem where highland and lowland species converge, resulting in extraordinary biodiversity with more than 700 species of plants, 350 species of birds and 120 species of mammals.

The suspension bridges range in length from 8 meters to 97 meters, with the longest bridge (Tayra) offering spectacular panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. Each bridge is named after local species of fauna and flora, and features educational signage that explains the species’ unique adaptations of the forest canopy.
The tour includes visits to the Blue Morpho Waterfall, a hummingbird garden with 14 different species, and multiple viewpoints with 360-degree panoramic views. The trails are designed to be accessible, with non-slip surfaces, safety railings, and maximum slopes of 8%, allowing visitors of all ages and abilities to enjoy the experience.
